I’ve posted information about the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) on this blog in previous articles. The purpose of this post is to let you know that new records have been added to their online Name Search Facility. The additions to the database will be of interest to people who are researching their roots in Northern Ireland and the local history of where their ancestors lived. To this end, additional online records have been made available, which include the Ulster Covenant, Freeholders’ Records, pre-1858 Will Calendars, Coroners’ Inquest Reports, and Street Directories.
