The following is an article written by Allison Meany for the Sun News that describes a Civil War Ghost Trail program scheduled to take place on September 14, in Rorth Ridgeville, Ohio, public library:
“Lorain Public Library System’s North Ridgeville Branch will host a free “Civil War Ghost Trail” program at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at the library, located at 35700 Bainbridge Road.
The program will be presented by author, historian, and paranormal investigator, Mark Nesbitt. America’s Civil War battlefields are not just hallowed historic sites; they are also laboratories for paranormal investigations.
Nesbitt has collected over a thousand stories from Civil War battlefields that appear to support the existence of spirit entities who linger on those fields.
Using photographs and audio recordings, Nesbitt will present evidence of ghosts and theories that attempt to explain their existence.
