Start Looking has added millions of State Birth, Marriage and Death Records from Pennsylvania to their database in a partnership with the Historical Society of Pennsylvania spanning from 1593-1908.

The latest additions cover important growth years when it was contributing to the overall development of the country. When you research the records you’ll learned details of the lives of your ancestors everyday people and those who helped forge the states rich history.

Ancestry always has an interesting line up of live broadcast. This week they produced a session about Pennsylvania vital records.  Although 400 people joined the live broadcast, to date over 2000 people have watched the archived video on their YouTube channel.

I’ve said many time that the more you learn about the places where your ancestors lived you start to see them as real people rather than names on a grave stone or in the family bible.
